Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to support the FAA. The selected candidate will provide expertise in budget formulation and execution of a Program; data analysis; financial management reporting; collaborate with management on financial status, address variances/issues/concerns and recommend mitigation, etc.

Knowledge of FAA financial systems (PRISM, DELPHI, etc.) in order to prepare and process procurement requests and run financial reports is ideal.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide array of financial management activities in support of government acquisition programs
  • Budget formulation, financial analysis, and development of critical financial artifacts such as Project Authorizations/Purchase Requisitions (PAs/PRs), management financial status briefings, blue and white sheets, Resource Planning Documents (RPDs), E-300 and congressional inquiries
  • FAA accounting practices and government appropriation process
  • Demonstrate competency in development of quality, on-time cost analysis deliverables
  • Contribute effectively to working groups as an indispensable team member through oral and written communication and develop cooperative working relationships
  • Contribute to a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment
  • Participate in knowledge sharing opportunities and seek to enhance skills through training and job experience
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business, finance, economics, or related field
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • High level of proficiency with MS Excel and other MS Office products. Strong analytical background and good interpersonal skills
  • Experience in financial analysis and proficiency in use of financial tools such as PRISM, DELPHI, REGIS, SPIRE, FMS and other FAA financial management tools
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for a US Public Trust security clearance
