Position Summary

The Electrical Installation Lead is responsible for overseeing the on-site management and execution of electrical installation projects conducted by electrical contractors. This role emphasizes adherence to the National Electrical Code [NEC] and National Electrical Installation Standards [NEIS], along with TGW controls standards and quality assurance. The individual will report directly to the Controls Installation Manager regarding project assignments and to ensure consistency across all TGW electrical installations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate closely with the assigned Project Manager Controls (PrMC) to align on scheduling and quality assurance, as well as with the Onsite Manager (OSM) to address safety and site-specific concerns.
  2. Foster positive relationships with clients, electrical installation vendors, and fellow TGW team members.
  3. Work alongside the onsite TGW Team to enforce OSHA and TGW safety protocols, aiming for accident prevention.
  4. Coordinate and supervise electrical installation tasks, utilizing TGW personnel, subcontracted labor, or a combination of both.
  5. Ensure deadlines, quality benchmarks, and budgetary constraints are met throughout the electrical installation process.
  6. Maintain daily documentation across various platforms, ensuring the most current installation plans are utilized and managing change order costs effectively.
  7. Guarantee compliance with TGW standards and contractual documents.
  8. Oversee quality control for electrical installations, including training for TGW employees and subcontracted labor involved in electrical work.
  9. Proactively identify and resolve issues as they arise.
  10. Complete all administrative tasks accurately, including daily reports, timecards, checklists, handover documents, punch lists, inventory management, and any other jobsite requirements.
  11. Manage labor hours, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure effective cost management.
  12. Provide training for any new employees assigned to the team.

Qualifications
  1. Must possess a State Journeyman's License or equivalent certification.
  2. Extensive experience in electrical work related to industrial equipment installation and machine wiring.
  3. Experience with conveyor system installation is preferred.
  4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and specifications.
  5. Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  6. Demonstrated reliability, cost awareness, flexibility, and customer focus.
  7. Able to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments.
  8. Experience working collaboratively with various contractors and internal departments.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  10. Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Project is advantageous.
  11. Completion of OSHA 30-hour training is a plus.
  12. Experience in the controls aspects of material handling equipment is beneficial.
  13. Willingness to travel frequently as required.
