Position Summary:

The Electrical Wiring Technician is tasked with the assembly of bespoke HVAC systems, installation of electrical components, and verification of connections and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical trade program is advantageous.

Prior electrical experience is necessary.

Capability to interpret control schematics and technical drawings.

Familiarity with fundamental electrical concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ensure a tidy and secure working environment.

Comply with all safety protocols.

Operate forklifts and overhead lifting equipment.

Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Main Duties:

Wire and install a variety of electrical systems (including motor controls, VFDs, and PLCs).

Utilize hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power tools for HVAC assembly.

Bend and install conduits as required.

Conduct start-up procedures, testing, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.

Perform various maintenance activities within the facility.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.

Reliability and punctuality are essential.

Previous experience in electrical work is beneficial.

Work Environment:

Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs; use of cranes or Hi-Lo for heavy items.

Work conducted in both standing and seated positions in a heated environment without air conditioning.

Physical requirements include lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
