Lanier Technical College is seeking a highly qualified Design Media & Production Technology Instructor to join our team. As an Adjunct Professor, you will be responsible for teaching credited courses in design media and production technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement program and course outlines, goals, and objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver lesson plans for classroom instruction.
  • Evaluate student progress and submit midterm and final grade reports.
  • Maintain program certification requirements and prepare administrative reports.
  • Complete required institutional trainings and ensure safety and security requirements are met.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in design media and production or a closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Appropriate coursework demonstrating competencies in specific course content.
  • At least three years of related work experience.

Technical Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to supervise students in the classroom.
  • Ability to develop and evaluate daily lesson plans.
  • Ability to direct and assess student progress.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual language skills (Spanish/English).
  • More than three years of related work experience.
