AHA Instructor

AHA Instructor jobs require creativity and the ability to follow standard AHA ACLS/PALS/BLS curriculum. The instructor should have practical experience in performing the skills taught and the ability to communicate the skills to students in a clear and precise manner.

• Instructing classes in both didactic and practical simulation environments per AHA guidelines.
• Leading and instructing the practical portion of classes in a practical simulation environment.
• Provide testing and evaluation per AHA standards for both written and practical testing.
• Filling out all course and post-course paperwork per AHA and NGHS Training center standards.

• Licensure or other certifications: Graduate from an accredited program in your designated certification as an E.M.T, Paramedic, R.N., Respiratory Therapist, Physician Assistant, M.D., or D.O American Heart Association ACLS/BLS Instructor in good standing (in one or all courses) and affiliated with a current Training Center.
• Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. Instructor in one or more: BLS, PALS, ACLS.
• Minimum Experience: Instructors will have at least 1 year of experience in teaching.
