We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at NavitsPartners. As a key member of our Data, AI & Genome Sciences (DAGS) team, you will play a critical role in coordinating efforts with our Alliance partner's computational data analysis teams.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Next Generation Sequencing and a proven track record of supporting dynamic projects involving NGS data. You will be responsible for identifying and tracking key deliverables, milestones, and dependencies, as well as implementing meeting structures and working with leads to plan agendas.
This is a remote role that will primarily support employees at our Cambridge, MA site and distributed collaborator teams. You will work closely with the DAGS Director of Project Management and the Alliance Manager to ensure seamless collaboration and communication across teams.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate projects involving NGS data, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence
- Develop and maintain project dashboards to track progress and identify potential issues
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including external CROs and internal teams
- Work with Data IT and Data Analysts to track and shepherd genomic data through pipelines and workflows
- Improve business processes and team interactions to boost efficiency and connect people with essential information
- BA/BS in a scientific or technological field of study
- 8+ years of scientific-related job experience (5+ years for MS/PhD degree holders)
- Project Management experience within the science realm
- Familiarity with Next Generation Sequencing data generation, processing, and analysis
- Advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with other omics technologies, CRISPR screening
- Hands-on lab experience
- Drug discovery experience, Oncology preferred
- Jira and Confluence experience
- Python coding, command line, AWS experience
- Project management certification (PMP) and/or formal coursework/training in project management
