The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in life sciences R&D, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role. You will be responsible for crafting impactful customer engagements, managing organized discoveries, and presenting solutions in a persuasive manner. Your ability to establish trust with scientists and successfully pitch to scientific buyers will be crucial to your success in this role.

We offer a competitive salary range of $119,000 - $161,000, with total on-target earnings of $148,750 - $201,250. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision plans, fertility healthcare, and a generous parental leave policy. You will also have access to a 401(k) plan with employer match, commuter benefits, and a monthly wellness stipend.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with account executives to deliver high-velocity customer engagements
  • Manage organized discoveries to uncover customer needs and requirements
  • Craft solutions based on Benchling capabilities and industry best practices
  • Present and demonstrate solutions in a persuasive manner
  • Manage customer questions and objections to resolve concerns
  • Engage with product management to provide insight into prospect and customer needs
  • Influence the roadmap for market success
  • Provide leadership by creating reusable solutions, content, and trainings
  • Mentor and partner with other SSCs to build their success

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, or similar Life Science field
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a customer-facing role
  • Experience with scientific/informatics software such as LIMS, ELN, or others preferred
  • Demonstrated capacity to effectively model scientific data and craft solutions
  • Ability to establish trust with scientists and successfully pitch to scientific buyers
