Position Overview:

The Market Quality (MQ) technical leaders are responsible for achieving departmental performance metrics, monitoring progress, and implementing necessary countermeasures to ensure optimal results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical reviews and assist in the development of summaries.
  • Support senior technical leaders in market action initiatives, including risk assessment and presentation preparation.
  • Mentor team members in analytical skills and methodologies for problem-solving and countermeasure implementation.
  • Lead critical item activities by evaluating risks and promoting issues to the Critical Problem Management Unit.
  • Assist with claim management and related activities.

Required Qualifications:

5-10 years of experience in technical leadership roles within manufacturing, quality, or design sectors.

Educational Background:

A bachelor's degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical engineering, or a closely related field, along with relevant work experience.

Essential Skills:

Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills; comprehensive knowledge of vehicle and job processes.

Additional Position Considerations:

Local travel between facilities may be necessary. Occasional travel to various dealerships and suppliers across North America for problem investigation is expected. Overtime may be required as needed. Hands-on work within vehicles is anticipated, with approximately 50% of time spent in test labs and workshops.
