Job Summary

The Management Trainee is a full-time, entry-level position in the management career path. As a Management Trainee, you will be responsible for learning total store operations, with the ultimate goal of moving up the ladder into a management position. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in sales, customer service, and retail management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and understand total store operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management
  • Develop skills in sales, customer service, and retail management through on-the-job training and mentorship
  • Assist in maintaining and merchandising store inventory
  • Participate in freight handling and forklift training, certification, and operation
  • Assist in creating material estimates from blueprints
  • Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or retail management is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
