Account Manager Trainee

We are a dynamic business consulting and sales firm based in New Haven, dedicated to delivering innovative marketing strategies and sales tactics that drive results for our reputable clients. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an entry-level candidate to join our marketing and sales team as an Account Manager Trainee. Our primary objective is to assist our clients in building strong relationships with their prospects, acquiring new accounts, increasing annual sales revenue, and expanding market reach.
Key Responsibilities:- Meet with leading business prospects to deliver presentations and establish long-lasting customer relationships.
- Educate potential buyers on our client's current products, promotions, and services.
- Assist clients in acquiring new accounts and overseeing expanding markets.
- Train directly with Senior Account Managers to develop comprehensive knowledge of our client's marketing campaigns, sales strategies, and sales team goals.
- Review sales contracts with clients, identify concerns, and negotiate accounts through upselling products and services as needed.
- Attend conference calls and participate in on-site training workshops to stay current on our client's sales progress.
- Collaborate with fellow Account Manager Trainees, Sales Associates, and Marketing Representatives to ensure our client's needs are met.
- In Progress or Bachelor's Degree in Management, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
- 0-3 years of experience working as an Account Manager, Sales Representative, or related leadership role preferred.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to develop leadership qualities.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments.
- Comfortable working independently and adaptable in a team setting.
- Self-determined and takes initiative in creating solutions.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Reliable transportation to our onsite location.
