Clinical Support Specialist

At Optimus Health Care, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in Stamford, CT. The estimated salary for this role is around $45,000 - $65,000 per year.
In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the complete and timely patient flow process, working collaboratively with providers, nurses, and other front office staff.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough patient histories and take vital signs;
- Prepare patients for exams and treatments, ensuring their comfort and dignity;
- Manage in-basket messages and update patient information in Epic (EMR system);
- Collaborate with clinicians to connect language interpretation services when needed;
- Participate in ongoing networking efforts with community providers to explore resources for patients;
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program;
- Professional Medical Assistant Certification obtained through one of the following agencies;
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably with familiarity working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR);
- CPR certification required upon hire and recertification bi-annually;
