Position Overview:

The Retail Sales Representative will play a crucial role in assisting the Store Leadership Team in reaching all organizational objectives and strategies.

This position requires the individual to exemplify and uphold outstanding customer service through effective communication, comprehensive product knowledge, and suitable sales techniques.

The Retail Sales Representative will ensure that company standards for merchandise presentation, restocking, and sizing are met while maintaining a fresh and orderly store environment.


Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor customer interactions and respond promptly, prioritizing customer assistance over other duties
- Welcome and acknowledge customers, providing the appropriate level of service
- Clearly communicate the value and quality of our products while sharing current promotions and offering alternatives for unavailable items when needed
- Utilize sound judgment to effectively resolve customer issues
- Demonstrate proficient selling skills to positively influence sales conversion
- Provide quick, friendly, and accurate service at the cash register while informing customers about the benefits of the PLACE Card
- Maintain adequate stock levels, ensuring representation of all sizes and styles
- Adhere to company standards for merchandise presentation, signage, and displays
- Support and maintain a tidy, organized stockroom while ensuring a customer-ready environment and complying with safety regulations
- Perform daily cleaning tasks to meet company standards
- Safeguard company assets by following all Loss Prevention protocols
- Promptly inform the Store Leadership Team of any maintenance or facility needs to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and associates
- Contribute focused efforts towards achieving store objectives
- Exhibit flexibility by processing stock as needed

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in retail preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age

Skills and Attributes:
- Exceptional customer engagement skills
- Proven time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
- Must be adaptable and flexible to changing priorities
- Capability to work a flexible schedule to meet business demands, including weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts
- Ability to navigate the sales floor and stockroom; climb ladders, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
