About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support conventional machining and sheet metal fabrications for F-119 Nozzle hardware in the Specialty Manufacturing business unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementation of new capital equipment from specification and ordering through delivery, installation, and release to production.
  • Follow MRL standard work when implementing Class 1 Engineering Changes to highlight and address risk within the value stream.
  • Draft and maintain prescriptive work instructions, including P&W specifications, engineering changes, QAD's, process control, and tooling requirements.
  • Identify and implement process optimization and control methods to eliminate quality turn backs and reduce overall product costs.
  • Participate in all continuous improvement initiatives supporting the business unit.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing/mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
