Customer Service Insurance Representative

Auto-Owners Insurance seeks a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional customer service and support to policyholders and agents. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities- Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and provide in-person support to policyholders and agents.
- Analyze and resolve complex policy issues, making sound decisions and recommendations.
- Manage multiple assignments, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and ensure quality results.
- Collaborate with agents and other teams to research problems and find solutions.
- Maintain accurate records and data entry related to policyholder accounts.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Associate's degree (Accounting/Business preferred) with a GPA of at least 3.0 (preferred) or at least two years of direct professional office experience.
- Direct insurance agency/company experience is a plus.
- The ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute with 85% accuracy.
- Flexibility for occasional and/or seasonal overtime.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- The ability to handle multiple assignments.
