About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Community Outreach Specialist to join our team at Oak Street Health. As a Community Outreach Specialist, you will be responsible for developing relationships with members of the community to engage Medicare seniors with our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Community Engagement
- Develop and maintain relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders to promote our healthcare services.
- Identify and engage with Medicare seniors in the community to educate them about our services and encourage them to become patients.
- Lead Generation
- Generate leads by effectively engaging with Medicare seniors through event execution and local community outreach.
- Maintain internal sales system knowledge and marketing programs by attending scheduled meetings to learn about new updates on services, workstreams, and initiatives.
- Relationship Management
- Maintain consistent touchpoints with prospects to continuously engage them and drive new patient growth in assigned territory.
- Capture and record customer information and sales activity into customer relationship management (CRM) system and other business systems.
Requirements
- Skills and Experience
- Ability to quickly connect and influence the right people.
- Comfortable with navigating external barriers to create a positive experience.
- Ability to manage priorities simultaneously.
- Team player and contributor to the overall effectiveness of the team.
- Sales and/or healthcare experience a plus.
- Education and Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
