Job Description
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by handling registration and check-out, PBX operations, mail and message service, and being an advocate for the hotel. This includes:
- Reviewing arrivals and special requests, blocking rooms as needed
- Checking in and out hotel guests with confidence and professionalism
- Answering phone calls promptly and accurately
- Completing daily tasks on time, including key control and credit policies
- Developing relationships with guests to ensure their return
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer-facing role
- Knowledge of the immediate area, services, attractions, and events
- Familiarity with hotel systems and operations
