Lead Pricing Strategist

We are seeking a talented Lead Pricing Strategist to join our esteemed team at Tad PGS. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our pricing strategies and support our business objectives.

**U.S. Citizenship is required.**

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing compliant pricing proposals in accordance with FAR12 & FAR15 TINA for various clients, including government agencies.
  • Assisting in audits and fact-finding missions with DCAA/DCMA and primary contractors.
  • Engaging in the formulation of business cases, competitive evaluations, risk management, and negotiation tactics to enhance customer proposals.
  • Facilitating growth through comprehensive business and financial analyses that balance profitability with customer satisfaction.
  • Providing negotiation assistance to business teams focused on customer relations.
  • Offering pricing insights for transactional spare parts and repairs as necessary.
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships across various business functions.
  • Promoting organizational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
  • A minimum of 2.5 years of direct experience in government/defense or 5+ years in pricing, finance, accounting, or business analysis roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of government procurement regulations (FAR).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and/or SAP.
  • Experience in cost accounting, pricing, or marketing, preferably within a government/defense context.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a knack for problem-solving.
  • Ability to coordinate tasks within teams and serve as a liaison between internal and external clients.
  • Proven ability to think innovatively, foresee challenges and opportunities, and implement strategic visions.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects with a focus on results and meeting deadlines.
  • Expertise in creating financial models for evaluating pricing and investment alternatives.
  • Ability to align pricing strategies with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Proven strategic thinking and process improvement skills.
  • Experience utilizing Six Sigma methodologies for enhancing processes and resolving issues.
