As an Automotive Purchasing Agent at Fitzgerald Auto Mall, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, appraising, and purchasing used car inventory from dealerships within our network. This position requires a self-starter with strong negotiation skills and a passion for building and maintaining relationships within the automotive industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inbound Lead Management:

  • Respond promptly to incoming leads via phone calls, emails, and other communication channels.
  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs, preferences, and vehicle details

Customer Interaction:

  • Engage with potential sellers in a friendly and professional manner. Build rapport and establish trust to facilitate a positive customer experience.

Vehicle Evaluation:

  • Conduct preliminary assessments of the vehicles based on customer-provided information. Guide customers through the vehicle inspection process if needed.

Negotiation and Closing:

  • Present offers and negotiate prices based on market trends and company guidelines.
  • Address any customer concerns or objections to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Close sales efficiently, ensuring all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed accurately.

Follow-Up:

  • Maintain regular follow-up with leads that have not yet converted to sales.
  • Provide additional information and support to assist in their decision-making process.

Database Management:

  • Accurately input and update customer information and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Track and report on sales performance and lead conversion metrics.

Market Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on current market trends, vehicle values, and competitive offerings.
  • Provide insights and feedback to the sales team and management based on market observations.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation and conversion strategies.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain professionalism and courtesy throughout all customer interactions.

By fulfilling these responsibilities, the Sales Representative will play a crucial role in acquiring vehicles for the company, contributing to overall business growth and customer satisfaction.
