Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a pickup truck with a tow-behind trailer.
- Showcase equipment to potential clients.
- Identify and pursue new sales prospects within the construction sector.
- Develop and nurture relationships with current clients to enhance sales and customer loyalty.
- Assess customer needs and recommend suitable construction equipment and services.
- Negotiate sales agreements and effectively close transactions.
- Participate in industry trade shows and events to network and promote our offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using our CRM system.
- Achieve or surpass sales targets and quotas established by management.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with concrete surface preparation and polishing equipment is advantageous but not mandatory; training on our specific products will be provided.
- Proven ability to learn and implement a sales process that yields positive results for clients.
- A bachelor’s degree or a minimum of two years of equivalent sales experience is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license in your state of residence is necessary.
- Ability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and motor vehicle report evaluations.
- Willingness to work in diverse environments while meeting with clients and assessing their product needs.
- Capability to lift and transport heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) and seek assistance when necessary.
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong analytical skills are required.
- Overnight travel may be necessary, with variability.
- Ability to manage your schedule independently.
- Self-starter with a strong drive to achieve daily goals.
- Effective teaching skills and a solid technical aptitude are essential.
- Strong customer service orientation is required.
- Aptitude to adapt behavior for effective interaction with others.
