The Red Lion Team is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician II for the First (1st) shift.

Summary:

This role provides essential technical support to the quality assurance and quality engineering functions. Responsibilities include conducting quality control inspections on products, materials, components, and parts at various stages of the production process to ensure adherence to established quality and reliability standards. The technician will capture and analyze statistical data from processes to confirm compliance or identify deviations from standards and recommend improvements to methods, procedures, and standards.

Major Position Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:

  • Conducts routine inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of standard parts, units, equipment, or materials.
  • Performs inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies, or finished products according to defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical, and/or electrical measurements.
  • Reworks or rejects subassemblies or finished products as necessary and conducts audits to maintain quality standards.
  • Accurately documents inspection and testing results.
  • Coordinates the calibration of testing equipment and fixtures.
  • Assists in the development and revision of inspection procedures, protocols, and checklists.
  • Interprets prints, schematics, and drawings effectively.

Basic Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Vocational/Technical Training Degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • 2-4 years of prior experience in a similar role.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Mathematical proficiency.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Technical expertise in quality assurance.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.
  • May require standing for prolonged periods.
