The Red Lion Team is looking for a Quality Control Technician II for the First (1st) shift.

Summary:
In this role, you will provide technical support to the quality assurance and quality engineering functions. Your responsibilities will include conducting quality control inspections on products, materials, and components at various stages of production to ensure adherence to established quality and reliability standards. You will capture and analyze statistical data to confirm compliance or identify deviations from standards and recommend improvements to methods and procedures.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties:
  • Conduct routine inspections, tests, and sampling procedures on standard parts, units, equipment, or materials.
  • Inspect purchased parts, subassemblies, or finished products according to defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical, and/or electrical measurements.
  • Rework or reject subassemblies or finished products as necessary and perform audits to maintain quality standards.
  • Document inspection and testing results accurately.
  • Coordinate the calibration of test equipment and fixtures.
  • Assist in writing and updating inspection procedures, protocols, and checklists.
  • Interpret prints, schematics, and drawings effectively.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Vocational/Technical Training Degree
  • OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & Experience
  • 2-4 years of prior experience in a similar role

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Mathematical proficiency
  • Computer literacy
  • Technical expertise
  • Attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to remain stationary at a desk and/or computer for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift up to 45 pounds.
  • May require standing for long durations.
