The Red Lion Team is currently looking for a Production Tech Lead for the First (1st) shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machinery and related equipment in a continuous production environment.
  • Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and other controls to ensure compliance with production specifications.
  • Identify and report any malfunctions or irregularities, making minor adjustments and repairs as necessary.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols during all operations.

Essential Duties:

  • Configure and operate production machinery to manufacture, process, and assemble various commercial products.
  • Utilize product specifications, blueprints, diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure product quality.
  • Oversee output for quality assurance and adherence to required metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities and report any discrepancies or equipment issues.
  • Follow established safety guidelines for material handling and use of protective equipment.
  • Analyze and document time, motion, methods, and speed to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Establish standard production rates for maintenance, production, clerical, and other operational tasks.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to manufacturing processes and facility layout.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Vocational/Technical Training Degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • In-depth understanding of wastewater treatment processes.
  • Technical proficiency in machine operation and programming.
  • Ability to identify and seek necessary information effectively.
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills.
  • Competence in precision measurement and quality inspection.
  • Familiarity with reading blueprints and diagrams.
  • Understanding of safety policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in record-keeping and adherence to SOPs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vocational/Technical Training Degree.
  • Additional technical training.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regular movement throughout the facilities is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
  • May require prolonged standing and working in varying environmental conditions.
  • Willingness to work outside of standard business hours as needed.
  • This position is classified as Safety Sensitive.
