$61,500-92,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
*Compensation is competitive with other educational institutions and local districts.

Position Summary

We seek dedicated and exceptional educators to become part of our middle school faculty. You will collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the learning outcomes of all students in your grade level.

You will be empowered and supported to deliver engaging, personalized, and challenging lessons that incorporate our core principles:

Utilizing data to inform your teaching, you will consistently evaluate student progress to ensure that each child's tailored learning plan meets their distinct needs and aspirations for growth.

You will provide equitable support for each child's development through restorative practices and social-emotional learning techniques.

Building strong relationships with families is essential, as you recognize their vital role in student achievement.

Additionally, you will benefit from ongoing training and support through high-quality professional development and personalized coaching.

Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Valid California State Teaching Credential or an equivalent and transferable teaching license from another state
Intern credential accepted

Additional Qualifications:
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Provision of TB (tuberculin) clearance within 60 days of hire, as mandated by California Education Code
CA DOJ and FBI fingerprint (Livescan) clearance prior to the first day of school
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination OR approved medical or religious exemption

Preferred Experience:

At least 2 years of teaching experience, ideally in a high-performing educational environment with a focus on excellent student outcomes.
Experience with diverse student populations
Familiarity with social-emotional learning and restorative practices.
Experience in integrating technology into educational settings.

Work Environment:

Setting:
This role is conducted in a school/classroom environment. The position regularly utilizes standard classroom tools such as laptops, photocopiers, whiteboards, fitness equipment, and Chromebooks. This position typically involves sitting with some walking and standing for extended periods. Staff may be required to lift, pull, or push objects weighing approximately 50 pounds or less. The role requires mobility to climb, kneel, stoop, crawl, reach, and bend, as well as the ability to accurately perceive sound; near and far vision for reading small print; depth perception; and the ability to provide oral information and direction.

The position is primarily located at a school site with some district office visits. The employee will frequently work independently under high work volume and tight deadlines.
