Key Responsibilities:
- Drive government vehicles throughout designated areas and assist with roadside emergencies, including:
- Changing tires
- Jumpstarting vehicles
- Delivering fuel
- Conducting minor repairs
- Assist in various trade-related tasks, which may include:
- Carpentry
- Painting
- Masonry
- Moving materials
- Collaborate with NSWC-IHD Infrastructure to coordinate towing services and ensure proper vehicle repairs are conducted at authorized facilities.
- Provide technical support in maintaining vehicle logs, tracking mileage, scheduling maintenance, and preparing maintenance reports.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving history (CDL not mandatory).
- Eligibility to work on base and obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
- Physical capability to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to pass a Federal Background Check/Security Clearance.
- Proficiency in English.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
