Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team at our Fort Collins, CO location. As a Pendleton Ambassador, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Drive sales through product knowledge, exceptional customer service, and sales techniques.
  • Maintain store visual objectives and housekeeping expectations, ensuring a clean and organized store environment.
  • Monitor store email and react to business-critical directives, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Provide positive feedback and encourage positive selling and customer service behaviors, promoting a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Consistently communicate with store management, ensuring effective collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Responsible for shift opening and closing store functions, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Ensure store is opened with preparedness and secured at closing, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Create and execute daily planners, communicating expectations with staff and ensuring effective task management.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensuring store team compliance and adherence to company standards.
  • Complete sales transactions with efficiency, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Escalate store issues in a timely manner, identifying and acting to solve problems and recommend improvements.
Requirements
  • Self-motivated, sales-driven, and prioritizes customer service.
  • Supports a team environment, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and concise communication.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, identifying and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Computer/POS systems and software skills, ensuring proficiency in company systems and software.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends, ensuring adaptability and flexibility.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with store employees, management, and customers, promoting a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Maintain calm and poised in stressful situations, knowing when to partner for support.
  • Solution-oriented, bringing challenges to a positive conclusion, partnering with store management to find solutions for improvements.
Qualifications
  • 2 years retail sales or customer service experience, including a minimum of 1 year shift supervision.
  • Must practice effective verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and concise communication.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision, ensuring independence and autonomy.
System Requirements
  • Microsoft Office email.
  • Retail inventory software.
  • Understand the POS system and other software used by the stores.
Physical Demands and Working Environment
  • Flexible schedule with nights, holidays, and weekend shifts per scheduling guidelines.
  • Physical dexterity and stamina to reach and lift to complete visual presentations and/or store set up.
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
  • Reaching arms over head, ladder use, computer operation, continuous standing and walking, hand coordination, telephone use, speaking, reading, writing.
