We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Operations Coordinator to join our team at Ascension. This role will provide administrative and clerical support to patients and customers in a medical setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, ensuring a positive experience in our medical facility.
- Verify and enter demographic information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Obtain and verify insurance authorizations and precertifications, facilitating timely and efficient patient care.
- Manage medical record release requests and schedule patient appointments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Enter, review, and submit charges for patient procedures and services daily, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely reimbursement.
- Collect co-payments and reconcile daily reports and deposits, ensuring financial accuracy and integrity.
- Provide general office and clerical support to assigned areas, contributing to a productive and efficient work environment.
- High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
- Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
This role is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, various health insurance options, retirement benefits, and employee assistance programs.
