To be eligible, candidates must meet the educational and/or experiential criteria outlined below.

Experience encompasses both paid and unpaid work, including volunteer activities conducted through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).

All qualifying experience, including volunteer work, will be credited.

Your resume must clearly outline your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information regarding transcripts is included in this document.

This announcement utilizes the Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to specific positions within the competitive service.Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. Proof of U.S. Citizenship will be required.

A one-year trial/probationary period may be necessary. Direct Deposit of Pay is mandatory. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from the Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.

This position falls under the CP-34 Information Technology/Cyber Management Career Field. Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement. Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement.

When executing a Civilian Permanent Change of Station (PCS) with the government, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) considers most entitlements to be taxable.

Permanent Change of Station (PCS) allowances may be authorized, subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations and an agency determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest.

The Operations Test Command employs salary control points within the salary range to differentiate levels of positions within the same broadband. Consequently, the salary for this position will be capped at $134, including locality.
