Intermediate Applications Systems Analyst – TS/SCI Clearance Required

At GDIT, our people are our greatest asset. As an Intermediate Applications Systems Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of today and the intelligence of tomorrow. Your contributions will directly support the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives through comprehensive research and analysis to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
  • Prepare detailed specifications for programming tasks.
  • Analyze and revise existing system logic and documentation as necessary.
  • Work competently across various phases of applications systems analysis, requiring guidance in some areas.
  • Support the evaluation and analysis of new system service requests to provide project managers with scope and effort estimates.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of Application Systems.
  • Compile reports on outages, trends, and relevant IT system information.
  • Monitor and report alarms to triage calls and resolve issues.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of network troubleshooting and support principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Utilize Case Tools as necessary.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Education: Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience or Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience.
  • Required Skills:
  • Ability to perform a variety of analytical tasks related to design and implementation, including personnel, hardware, software, and support facilities to provide mission support.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and providing technical support and solutions to users.
  • Guide users in formulating requirements and advise on alternative approaches.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
  • Clearance Level: TS/SCI; candidates must be willing to obtain a CI Polygraph for specific positions as required by the contract.
  • Required Certifications:
  • DoD M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification is required prior to contract support.
  • IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent.
  • Work Environment: On Customer Site.
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Position may involve lifting IT hardware, reaching, bending, and other moderately strenuous activities.
  • Travel may be necessary to support mission objectives.
