About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled Midstream Accountant to join our team at Cyfle. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, and performing SOX controls.

Key responsibilities include:

\u2022 Performing plant allocations and producer settlements for midstream assets.
\u2022 Recording revenues, cost of product, and revenue recognition entries related to assigned assets.
\u2022 Preparing operational summaries (financials) which capture revenues, cost of product, volumes, pricing, operating expenses, and variance explanations.
\u2022 Preparing necessary journal entries and account reconciliations.
\u2022 Working closely with operations and commercial development to stay informed of physical flow changes and contract changes related to assigned assets.
\u2022 Reviewing contracts to ensure all revenues and costs are being accounted for correctly.
\u2022 Preparing various monthly plant settlement reports and regulatory reports.
\u2022 Assisting with internal and external customer inquiries, including auditors and producers.

Requirements:

\u2022 Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business administration
\u2022 Strong analytical and research skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask and work towards tight deadlines;
\u2022 Ability to interact and use influencing skills effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with external representatives;
\u2022 Flexible work attitude and ability to successfully manage changing priorities;
\u2022 Knowledge and understanding of midstream accounting;
\u2022 Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with employees and managers across the organization, as well as with external auditors and producers;
\u2022 5-6 years of previous accounting experience.
