Cyfle is seeking a highly skilled Midstream Accounting Professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise to our clients in the midstream sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Midstream Accounting: Collaborate with producers, commercial development, and operations to account for midstream producer allocations and settlements.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, manage accounts payable and receivable, and perform SOX controls.
  • Operational Summaries: Prepare operational summaries (financials) which capture revenues, cost of product, volumes, pricing, operating expenses, and variance explanations.
  • Journal Entries and Reconciliations: Prepare necessary journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Contract Review: Review contracts to ensure all revenues and costs are being accounted for correctly.
  • Regulatory Reports: Prepare various monthly plant settlement reports and regulatory reports.
  • Customer Inquiries: Assist with internal and external customer inquiries, including auditors and producers.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business administration.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and research skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask and work towards tight deadlines.
  • Communication: Ability to interact and use influencing skills effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with external representatives.
  • Flexibility: Have flexible work attitude and ability to successfully manage changing priorities.
  • Midstream Accounting Knowledge: Have knowledge and understanding of midstream accounting.
  • Experience: 5-6 years of previous accounting experience.
