Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to serve as our Chief Nursing Officer/Vice President, Operations. This key executive will be responsible for leading our nursing organization and managing our clinical operations functions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the nursing organization and manage clinical operations functions, including patient care services, ancillary services, and hospital-based ambulatory services.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient care, safety, and patient/team member experience.
  • Collaborate with system and regional leaders to advance clinical and business objectives.
  • Provide leadership and direction to nursing and clinical operational leaders, including communication, coaching, goal-setting, and regular feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and reporting requirements.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree or higher in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure (possess or to obtain).
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in healthcare, including 5 years in a leadership position directing or managing in a dynamic, matrixed healthcare organization.
  • Prior nursing leadership experience at the VP or CNO level.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Earned Doctorate in Nursing (DNP or PhD).
  • Board certification as a Nurse Executive (NE-BC, NEA-BC, or CENP).
