Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager and Team Leader to join our team at Gesa Credit Union. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and management of Asset and Liability Management (ALM) modeling and reporting, liquidity reporting, profitability analytics, budgetary processes, and investment portfolio administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement ALM models and reporting to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Lead the liquidity forecasting, stress-testing, and reporting processes to ensure the credit union's liquidity needs are met.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership on financial health, operational efficiency, and risk management.
  • Manage and administer the credit union's profitability system, analyzing and reporting on profitability of all aspects of the credit union.
  • Lead the preparation of the annual credit union-wide budget and provide leadership and oversight during the construction of the annual budget and data input.
  • Collaborate with departments and committees to coordinate strategies, monitor profitability, and prepare analysis and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Seven to ten years of progressive experience in related financial positions, with credit union or financial institution experience desired.
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or business-related field required, with MBA, CFA, or other relevant designation preferred.
  • Experience and working knowledge of CECL preferred.
  • Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy consistently displayed in communication with members, coworkers, and vendors.
  • Proficiency with standard office equipment and computer software programs utilized in required duties.
