Job Summary

As a Financial Operations Manager, you will lead the accounting/finance support staff in performing various accounting support functions. You will maintain job procedures, distribute work, and provide feedback to management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain job procedures and distribute work to team members
  • Provide feedback to management on team performance
  • Assign work to support staff associates and perform quality review checking of their work
  • Monitor team workload to ensure standards are maintained
  • Help resolve complex or problematic issues
  • Provide administrative support to area management and assist with development or updating of work instructions
  • Create weekly and monthly reports to provide ongoing feedback to management
  • Perform timely and accurate processing and maintenance of data relevant to financial records
  • Perform quality control of financial records and coordinate with operations managers to assist with resolution
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Respond to internal and external customer inquiries to ensure accurate billing, payments, and/or collections
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a job-related field or equivalent work experience. Good leadership and planning skills. Microsoft Office and basic Microsoft Excel skills required.
