Group Leader

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Leader to join our team. As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership, laboratory/project organization, and scheduling for assigned staff. You will work closely with our team to ensure the successful completion of projects and studies, while maintaining high-quality standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day laboratory activities, including identifying and recommending training needs and mentoring staff members.
- Provide technical laboratory oversight and serve as a technical resource for the division and clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues to complete investigations and meet investigation timelines.
- Prepare necessary reports according to standard operating procedures and GMP guidelines.
- Manage resources, including facilities, equipment, and staff, necessary to complete projects and studies.
- Guide multiple projects and studies through workflow, taking into consideration varying deadlines.
- Ensure and take ownership of all quality issues and goals.
- Provide or arrange appropriate training for staff, including orientation of new or transferring staff.
- Maintain and guide implementation of organizational policies and procedures in compliance with state, federal, and other regulatory guidelines.
- Serve as a leader and mentor to assigned staff, communicating clearly and effectively with clients and Eurofins staff and leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or other directly related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a directly relevant setting.
