Job Summary

Frankfort Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families during the labor and delivery process.

Responsibilities

* Provide direct patient care to patients in the labor and delivery unit, including assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing interventions to promote patient safety and well-being.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
* Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance the quality of patient care and promote a culture of safety and excellence.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other relevant information.

Requirements

* Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee or a Compact State.
* BSN degree from an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
* At least 1 year of experience as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, preferably in a hospital setting.
* CPI Training & Certification required within 6 months.
