Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Frankfort Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the health and well-being of our patients.

Job Summary:

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care to patients in the labor and delivery unit. This includes assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the labor and delivery unit, including assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or Compact State.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
  • At least 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience.
  • CPI Training & Certification required within 6 months.
