About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act.
  • Utilize therapeutic communication to build strong relationships with patients and families.
  • Identify nursing problems and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to drive quality and safety initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • 1 year of RN experience, with Labor and Delivery experience highly preferred.
  • Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or Compact State.
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required within 6 months.
  • AWHONN basic, intermediate, and advanced certifications within 1 year.
  • CPI Training & Certification required within 6 months.
