Network Engineer II

Sev1Tech is seeking a skilled Network Engineer II to provide top-notch security, infrastructure, and technology managed services in the Denver area.

The ideal candidate will assist with updating and replacing end-of-life Cisco devices across multiple sites throughout the U.S. and consult on additional projects during surge periods as necessary. Key responsibilities include:

Maintaining and administering Cisco network routers and switches
Documenting, scheduling, and coordinating resources for remote sites during implementation
Tracking and documenting request and incident information in an IT Service Management tool
Installing and configuring network equipment
Administering routers and switches
Troubleshooting fiber, wireless, switching, and routing connections
Project engineering work required

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in a Cisco network environment
CCNA certification
Experience with Catalyst Manager
Experience with provisioning switches for lifecycle replacement
Experience with enterprise-level change management protocols
Proven network engineering, network operations, and network performance analysis skills
Expert-level communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
Hands-on troubleshooting capabilities
Ability to work with little supervision to execute highly technical and complex tasks

Preferred qualifications include Juniper engineering experience for surge project support.
