Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a skilled Event Planner to oversee the planning, execution, and coordination of various events, including social events, internal meetings, and external events. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement event plans, ensuring timely and within-scope execution
  • Coordinate with customers and vendors to ensure seamless event setup, delivery, and post-event activities
  • Provide regular reports and surveys to demonstrate event success and customer satisfaction
  • Communicate and document event checklists and readiness reports
  • Travel to support offsite events, conduct site visits, and provide feedback to the planning team
  • Work with FTC staff to determine event needs and participate in conference calls and meetings as required
  • Assist with setting up and starting virtual meetings using applications such as Teams and Zoom
Requirements
  • High School Diploma and 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field and event planning experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
  • Event planning experience for Federal Government customers is a plus
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
