As a Senior Executive Compensation Consultant at WTW Inc., you will engage with leading professionals in the field while enhancing your expertise in advanced compensation strategies. Your role will involve overseeing consulting initiatives, providing guidance to senior team members, and ensuring the quality of work produced by junior colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional project management for high-profile clients.
- Prepare detailed statements of work, project timelines, and budgets that encompass various workflow streams and client teams.
- Act as the primary project leader, monitoring team progress against set objectives, budgets, timelines, deliverables, and quality benchmarks.
- Guide and mentor junior staff, offering continuous feedback and support.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations and escalating issues to senior consultants as necessary.
- Collaborate on the design and implementation of compensation programs, including total rewards strategies, competitive benchmarking, and incentive plan development.
- Contribute to the creation of innovative tools and methodologies.
- Assist in generating new business opportunities through collaborative efforts.
- Engage in discussions with potential clients and help develop and present proposals.
- Build strong relationships with clients to better understand their needs and expand WTW's service offerings.
- Enhance WTW's brand visibility through the development of intellectual capital, writing articles, and participating in relevant industry conferences.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in executive compensation design within consulting or highly consultative corporate settings.
- Proven expertise in designing annual, equity, and other incentive programs.
- Comprehensive understanding of regulatory, legal, tax, and accounting frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data and communicate findings effectively.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple complex projects while delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Exceptional communication skills, with experience in presenting ideas persuasively to colleagues and management.
- Self-motivated with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Proficient in collaborating within a team environment.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, along with clear and confident written and verbal communication abilities.
Compensation and Benefits
WTW offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $123,250 to $166,750 USD per year, along with eligibility for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
