Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Assistant to support our client, a leading printing company. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to the billing and production teams, ensuring smooth operations in job costing, invoicing, and maintaining production records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in job costing to ensure accurate pricing.
  • Create and organize copies of invoices for both internal and client records.
  • Maintain and update the filing system for easy access to important documents.
  • Help manage the daily shipping log, ensuring all shipments are accurately recorded.
  • Prepare and send product samples to clients, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Input daily production logs into the PSI system to track job progress and completion.
  • Organize and store job jackets for efficient retrieval.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with the printing industry or PSI system is a bonus but not required.
  • Previous experience in billing or administrative roles is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move packages and materials.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Primarily office-based work, with some tasks in storage areas.
  • May require extended hours during peak times.
