Role Description

The Client Services Team Lead will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day needs of our clients, while also leading and managing the greater Client Services Team's efforts. This role requires close collaboration with senior consultants and the Managing Director to ensure client deliverables are executed in a timely manner and to the highest standard of quality.

  • Directly support a dedicated book of clients.
  • Onboard new client relationships.
  • Lead benchmarking exercises for clients (e.g., service provider RFPs).
  • Train new clients on fiduciary responsibilities and best practices.
  • Assist clients in fulfilling compliance requirements.
  • Track and facilitate governance documentation for clients.
  • Provide day-to-day support to consultants for client requests.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Client Services Team Lead will also focus on:

  • Researching and developing quarterly fiduciary training topics for clients.
  • Maintaining knowledge on important legislation affecting clients.
  • Tracking trends and insights within the client base.
  • Ensuring client databases are appropriately updated and maintained.
  • Implementing SOPs at the firm and team level, identifying opportunities for internal process improvement.
  • Providing project management and mentorship support for other Client Service team members.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in client services within the financial services industry.
  • Leadership, mentorship, or management skills or experience.
  • A passing score or better on the Attention to Detail Assessment presented during the interview process.
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and flexibility to take on whatever is needed to support the firm.
  • Comfort being client-facing, preferably with experience presenting to clients.
  • A high level of professionalism in interactions with clients and consultants.
  • A highly motivated individual with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to navigate several assignments simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated success in client relationship management and retention.
  • A forward-thinking mindset with the ability to identify ideas to build out efficiencies within the firm.
  • Strong data analysis skills.

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
