Clinical Nurse Specialist

Position Overview:
DaVita is in search of a dedicated Nurse who is eager to provide exceptional care in an outpatient dialysis environment. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of patients and their families facing end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. Key Responsibilities:
- Float to multiple clinics as needed, adapting to various patient care settings.
- Engage in training that may occur in different facilities or training clinics.
- Maintain a flexible schedule, accommodating morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

- Establish meaningful relationships with patients and their families in a supportive outpatient environment.
- Collaborate with a team that values mutual support and positivity.
- Deliver care to patients with diverse health challenges, utilizing a broad range of nursing skills.
- Supervise a group of patients, supported by Patient Care Technicians, to monitor patient conditions and manage equipment.
- Engage in a dynamic work environment that requires both mental and physical agility.

Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited institution; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) preferred.
- Previous experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Certification as a Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is a plus.
