Retail Customer Support Associate

This role is crucial for the effective operation of our retail locations. Customer Support Associates engage with both wholesale and retail clients to assess their requirements, address inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams offerings, and suggest suitable solutions. They are also responsible for swiftly addressing any customer issues to ensure optimal satisfaction while keeping abreast of product features and maintaining the high standards of quality and presentation expected in our stores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction through outstanding sales service.
- Assist clients both in-person and via phone by identifying their needs and recommending appropriate products and services.
- Establish and nurture productive relationships with wholesale and retail clients.
- Accurately process sales transactions in accordance with company policies.
- Consistently meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate work order documentation and formulas.
- Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
- Tint and mix products to meet customer specifications.
- Restock shelves and create appealing displays.
- Ensure cleanliness of store equipment.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Support delivery efforts as required.
- Keep assigned areas well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Stay informed about product offerings and discuss available options with customers.
- Adhere to inventory management procedures.
- Propose strategies to enhance sales performance.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for a work visa.
- Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be available to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Hold a High School diploma or GED.
- Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
- Experience in selling paint and related products is advantageous.
- Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language is a plus.
- Proficiency in Spanish is beneficial.
