This role is vital for the effectiveness of our retail operations. Customer Support Associates engage with both wholesale and retail clients to identify their requirements, address inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams offerings, and suggest suitable solutions. They are also responsible for swiftly resolving customer issues to ensure optimal satisfaction while staying informed about product features and maintaining the high quality and visual standards of the merchandise and store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction through outstanding sales service.
- Assist clients in person and via phone by assessing their needs and recommending appropriate products and services.
- Establish and nurture productive trust-based relationships with wholesale and retail clients.
- Accurately process sales transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Meet and exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Maintain accurate work order documentation and formulas.
- Retrieve necessary products from the sales floor or warehouse.
- Tint and mix products to meet customer specifications as required.
- Restock shelves and create appealing displays.
- Maintain cleanliness of store equipment.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Support delivery efforts as needed.
- Ensure assigned areas are well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Stay knowledgeable about product offerings and discuss available options with customers.
- Adhere to inventory control protocols.
- Propose strategies to enhance sales performance.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.
- Must be capable of retrieving materials from shelves and floor stacks and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be available to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Hold at least a High School diploma or GED.
- Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
- Previous experience in selling paint and related products is advantageous.
- Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment is preferred.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in multiple languages is a plus.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in Spanish is desirable.
