Primary Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that products are well-stocked and displayed.
  • Assist customers in locating products and provide support as needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries and phone calls with professionalism.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with product rotation and replenishment.
  • Adhere to sanitation and safety protocols within the department.
  • Perform cash register duties as required.
  • Participate in inventory management as directed.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Construct product displays as necessary.
  • Assist in ordering supplies and pricing products.
  • Support other departments as needed.
Qualifications:

No formal education is required; however, prior experience in a retail environment is preferred.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Able to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.
  • Basic arithmetic skills for handling transactions.
  • Ability to maintain organized records and provide assistance to customers.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Visual acuity for detailed work and maintaining product displays.
  • Ability to perform various physical activities, including standing, walking, and lifting.
Work Environment:

This role may involve exposure to various environmental conditions typical of a retail setting.

Equipment Utilized:

Includes computers, cash registers, and other retail equipment.
