Key Responsibilities:
  1. GL Reconciliation:
    Conduct thorough and timely reconciliations of General Ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  2. Intercompany Transactions:
    Examine previous intercompany transactions to validate correct allocation and accuracy, addressing any discrepancies as necessary.
  3. Advanced Excel Utilization:
    Leverage advanced Excel capabilities to analyze financial data, generate reports, and develop intricate financial models.
  4. Blackline Software:
    Employ Blackline for account reconciliations, adhering to best practices and optimizing functionalities for enhanced efficiency.
  5. Corporate Tax and Fixed Assets Management:
    Oversee corporate tax accounting, including the preparation and submission of tax returns, and manage fixed assets accounting, encompassing tracking, depreciation calculations, and asset disposals.
  6. Multi-Entity GL Reconciliation:
    Execute GL reconciliations across multiple entities, ensuring accurate representation of intercompany eliminations and consolidations in financial statements.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years in accounting, focusing on GL reconciliation and intercompany transactions. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas, are essential. Experience with Blackline software is a significant advantage. A strong understanding of corporate tax, fixed assets, and depreciation accounting is required, along with experience in multi-entity GL reconciliations.
