The Job

As a Senior Financial Analyst in Financial Planning and Analysis, you will provide critical support to our annual budgeting and reforecasting processes, collaborating with budget owners to troubleshoot issues and analyze monthly reforecast variances.

You will mine, collect, and analyze relevant data to inform our corporate budgeting and forecasting processes, creating and maintaining financial models for specific areas as required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Mining and analyzing data to support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Creating and maintaining financial models for specific areas
  • Conducting ongoing analysis to achieve quarterly administrative reforecast
  • Identifying and proposing improvements for current processes and controls
  • Developing strong working relationships with finance leads and business owners
  • Supporting the annual budget process and communicating with budget owners
  • Providing business leaders with variance explanations and summarizing monthly financial results
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement and forecasting accuracy
Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and a strong background in corporate finance and accounting.

Prior experience in a healthcare setting, specifically in an HMO environment, is highly desirable.

Key qualifications include:

  • Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and Excel skills
  • Intermediate Power BI skills
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office
