Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Cardiac Ultrasound Technician to join our team at Baptist Health Floyd, specializing in Cardiovascular Diagnostics on a PRN basis during daytime hours.
Key Responsibilities:
The Cardiac Diagnostics department at Baptist Health Floyd offers a variety of advanced testing services tailored for patients. Our dedicated team of professionals and imaging specialists prioritize patient care, ensuring a supportive and respectful environment for all individuals undergoing testing.
In this role, the Cardiac Ultrasound Technician will conduct non-invasive cardiovascular assessments for patients of all age groups.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers is required. Candidates should be a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).
If not currently registered, candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and be eligible for registry, with a commitment to achieve registration within 2 years. New graduates will have 18 months from their hire date to obtain their registration.
