Position Overview:
As a Cardiac Ultrasound Specialist, you will play a crucial role in utilizing advanced cardiac ultrasound technology to capture precise images for diagnostic purposes. Your expertise will contribute significantly to patient care and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Educating patients and their families about the procedures being performed.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in conducting echocardiographic studies.
  • Consistently executing high-quality Doppler and color Doppler examinations.
  • Acquiring exceptional Stress Echo and Dobutamine images in line with physician standards.
  • Performing Transesophageal echocardiograms while adhering to physician expectations.
  • Understanding cardiac disease processes and accurately interpreting acquired images.
  • Reporting findings to the interpreting physician for timely evaluation.
  • Completing all necessary processing for each study conducted.
  • Maintaining and disinfecting equipment according to departmental protocols.
  • Keeping accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Utilizing the McKesson PACS system effectively.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Current BLS and ARMDS or CCI National Certification.
  • State-specific licensing as required.

As a Cardiac Ultrasound Specialist, you should be prepared for a physically demanding role, which includes standing and walking for extended periods, as well as bending and stooping as necessary. A solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology is essential for success in this position.
